To determine this, you can use the old-fashion way (and mind you, it really IS OLD FASHION). Try slapping your wrist a few times, targeting the pressure at the prominent vein(s). Once the skin around the region turns rosy, it's easier for you to determine if your skin tone is warm or cool. Alternatively, here's a really vague illustration to determine:
